Paul Ray Lawson
1927 - 2013
Another star was added to the heavens when Paul Lawson died at Arbor Acres Fitzgerald Health Center on May 3, 2013, just 4 days after his 86th birthday. Paul was born in Forsyth County to Mary Collins and George Washington Lawson.
Paul will be fondly remembered for his quick wit, his political satire, his excellent memory for everything and for just being fun to be around.
In addition to the many friends he leaves behind, Paul will be greatly missed by his surviving family: sisters, Lucy Bovet (Jean P.) and Dottie Wise of Winston-Salem, Joyce Love (R.J.) of Pilot Mountain, Janice Long (Ray) of Kernersville and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews across the country.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in Robinson Hall, Asbury Place, Arbor Acres, 1351 Susanna Wesley Dr., Winston-Salem, NC. Memorials may be made to Arbor Acres Assistance Endowment Fund. Online condolences may be made through www.salemfh.com.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Arbor Acres for their caring support.
To the Lawson Family:
May the memories of joy and laughter help carry you through your sorrow. And may the peace that God provides, sustain you. (Philippians 4:7)
