Mrs. Grace Woodell Lanier, 77, of Winston-Salem passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center.

Mrs. Lanier was retired from Staley Charcoal Steak House and attended Clearview Baptist Church. She loved to travel and spend time with her family. She was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Simmons.

She is survived by two sons, Ronnie Simmons and wife, Teresa of Winston-Salem; and Terry Lanier of the home; granddaughter, Tiffany Thompson of Raleigh; and a special friend, Betty Prince.

A graveside service will held at 11:00 a.m. Friday April 5, 2013 at Crestview Memorial Park with Rev. Jeffrey D. Purdue officiating. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Online condolences may be made through www.salemfh.com.
