Andy will be missed by his "other" work family at Wake Forest Baptist Imaging. He was a kind man with a caring and gentle spirit. We were blessed to have known Andy. Words are never enough at a time like this. We only knew Andy but for a brief time, but he was the kind of guy everybody loved and loved being around. I guess I got to know him more on Facebook. He would always post funniest things that would just make you sit back and say I am glad he is my friend. He would always brighten my day especially when I was having a bad one.
I never got to tell Andy thank you for bringing Adam to Winston Salem. We are so thankful to have a wonderful son in law like Adam.
I can only say I am so sorry and you have my deepest sympathy. Lean on your best friends and you will find comfort. May God give you the strength and help you through this most difficult and sad time.
Andy will never be forgotten! My heart goes out to you and your little boy,your family and all Andy's family.

Thinking of you all right now, and for lack of better words, it just plain sucks. My husband, Dan, shared a shift with Andy in Manhattan, and out of that grew a solid and fun friendship. There was never a dull moment with Andy around, and he even dressed up like Daisy Duke to help Dan celebrate his 30th birthday. After Dan and I married, being the true gentleman he was, Andy would call my husband at work to ask his permission to invite me to come watch football with the guys, or whatnot. Even though we were sad when he and Adam moved to NC, we were thrilled when he found Danielle...I'm glad he got to experience that, even though it was way too short. Bless you all, and I wish you peace and comfort.
