Warren and David:
Words cannnot define Susan nor the lives of so many people she touched through her church, her teaching, tutoring and her love for life, which radiated to those around her and her love of her Lord. The times she spent with my family during the illness of my father will always be treasured. She always had a smile on her face -- always there to help. She will be missed, yet her memory will live in the hearts and minds of all she touched. Praises! Now she will reap treasures for the many things she did for others. Our prayers and thoughts are with you all.

Dear Family Members,
I grew up with Susan on Forest Drive, so we went from Whitaker all the way through Reynolds together. I spent many hours at her house as we played and played. I will cherish my wonderful memories of Susan and her mother and dad. Please know that I am thinking of all of you.

Dear Warren - I was so sad to learn that Susan had died. She was a dear, dear, friend and I can't imagine growing up without her! We had such a great neighborhood growing up - lots of kids and lots of fun! She was everything a great friend could be. I remember visiting her one weekend at High Point when she was dating you! So many memories of a life well-lived. I pray that your cherished memories comfort you and your son always.

Hello,
I am so sorry for your family's loss. Mrs. Boyer was one of the best teachers that I have ever had. She was always genuinely interested in helping us to not only understand the material, but also to grow as individuals. She will truly be missed, and always appreciated. Thank you for sharing such a special part of your family with all of us, her students. I hope you can be comforted in the fact that she will not be forgotten and that she touched the lives of so many young students at Forsyth Country Day. Your family will be in my prayers.
Sincerely,
Sarah Martin

To all in the Boyer family, I am truly sorry for your loss. Mrs. Boyer played so many roles in my middle and high school experiences. She was an energetic teacher and chaperone for my class's 8th grade field trip to Washington D.C. at Forsyth Country Day School, a dedicated SAT tutor, and a caring person. I was just thinking the other day about how I owe my love of alliteration to Mrs. Boyer and her daily directions to "swivel our sleek and slender necks" to her "beautiful bird board" to see our science homework assignments. She was instrumental in helping me to improve my SAT score when I took the test for the final time. Even when I was in college, she graciously helped me with an assignment through her eagerness to let me interview her about her experiences as a teacher at FCDS for one of my education classes. Please know that your family is in my thoughts and prayers, and that I will miss your wife and mom very much.

We only have great memories of Susan as a Forsyth Country Day science teacher and friend. Her enthusiasm and friendliness made learning science so exciting and so much fun. As parents, we were so blessed to have her teaching our children. We will remember her always, not only as a great teacher, but as a wonderful, caring friend!
We will be in prayer for you as you travel this very difficult path.
Sincerely,
