Frances Meadows Kelly
Mrs. Frances Meadows Kelly of Winston-Salem passed away Friday, July 20, 2007 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born November 23, 1927 in Madison County to the late Hardy Francis and Georgia Hunter Meadows. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Thomas Kelly, and a brother, Dr. Van B. Meadows. Surviving are her two daughters: Mary Conrad and husband, Allen, of Winston-Salem and Ann Golobic and husband, Bob, of Ridgeway, CO; brother, Dr. Kenneth H. Meadows and wife, Lynn, of Winston-Salem; and sister-in-law, Gingi Meadows Parker of Yadkinville. Frances was also survived by three grandchildren: Dr. Ed Jones and wife, Dr. Deb Gore, of Spokane, WA, Cooper Conrad and wife, Summer, of Charleston, SC, Anna Sebastian and husband, Adam, of Winston-Salem; three great-grandchildren: Jack, Noah, and Maggie Jones of Spokane, WA; and several special nieces and nephews. Frances lived for several years in Woodlawn, VA where she enjoyed nature and her flower garden. Family was most important to Frances and she will be missed by all who loved her. A family graveside service will be held in celebration of her life 11:00 a.m. Sunday, July 29, at the Meadows Family Cemetery in Ennice, NC with Rev. Mark Portis officiating. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 1315 Ashleybrook Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103 or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
