Salem Funerals & Cremations continues a tradition of excellence started in 1858 by the Vogler Family in a building near what is now known as Old Salem.

Today, working from that same historic building, sixth generation members of the Vogler family provide a multi-faith ministry with the utmost care and compassion and reasonable pricing. Everyone who works at Salem Funerals & Cremations is considered a member of the Vogler family and is ready to assist in providing peace-of-mind to families going through a difficult time.

New location! We want to share the good news with you that we have opened a second location at Sunnynoll, the former Davis family home, located at the intersection of Reynolda and Polo Roads. Our new location at 2599 Reynolda Road offers full-service funeral planning and arrangements, including family consultations, a virtual showroom of products and visitation services.

We are proud and honored to extend our service team to include John Mosby Vogler Jr. John is serving his apprenticeship and is the sixth generation of the Vogler family to serve the people of Winston-Salem.

John has moved from Aspen, Colorado to work with his father, uncle, and the rest of the Salem Funerals & Cremations team to continue to support and nurture the community.
